Computer Rebuilds

Over time, all computer and PC systems suffer from a variable amount of slow-down. This can be due to a number of reasons:

What does a rebuild involve?

During your computer rebuild, we will carry out the following tasks:

Back up all your computer data to another hard disk or DVD (this is a safety precaution to ensure that none of your documents, emails, photos, etc are lost)
Remove all dust from the inside to prolong your PC's life.
Test the memory and hard disk drive.
Erase the system's hard drive, removing everything that was on it. Including the Master Boot Record where some viruses may reside.
Reinstall your operating system.
Install all the lastest hardware drivers and patches on the PC.
Apply all required updates to ensure secure, reliable running.
Install anti-virus and anti-spyware software.
Install an alternative web browser, as Internet Explorer is notorious for allowing web sites to install software on your PC without your consent.
Install all your software, printers, scanners, cameras, etc.
Test your computer system.
